trivai is live. Type any six topics you actually care about — Discworld novels, organic chemistry, your group chat's inside jokes — and about a minute later there's a 36-question board that didn't exist before. No question bank, no recycled pub-quiz sheets, no "General Knowledge Vol. 12."
We built trivai because every trivia game we loved eventually ran out of the thing that made it fun: questions about the stuff we were into. So we stopped shipping a database and started shipping a research pipeline instead.
What it does
You bring the topics; trivai does the rest.
- Six topics, your call. Anything you can name, from the Sengoku period to competitive cup stacking.
- A researched board in ~a minute. Every question is written to order from a research library of 350,000+ curated facts, quotes, and statistics, then double-checked before the board is dealt.
- Strategy on top of the quiz. Every correct answer lights up the ring of tiles around it — 1.5× on each neighbor, 2.25× where rings overlap — and answering correctly keeps your streak alive to go claim them. "What do I know?" becomes "where do I attack?"
- One token, one board. No subscription. New players start with 12 free tokens — enough to feel the whole thing before spending a cent.
A board about the six things you love beats a trivia night about nothing in particular — every time.
What's next
This is the smallest version of trivai we were willing to ship, not the biggest we're planning. Multiplayer is already live; traps and steals are in; Trivia Studio lets you build and reuse your own categories. A community marketplace is next, and this blog is where the changelogs will land.
So: type six topics and see what a board built for you feels like. If a question ever misses the bar, tell us — the feedback form lives right in the menu, and we'd rather lose the point than the trust.
Welcome to trivai.
