Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Anura Works LLC (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use trivai (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up with email, we collect your email address, an optional name, and a securely hashed password. When you sign in with a third-party provider (Google or Discord), we receive basic profile information such as your name, email, and account identifier from that provider.
- Profile information. A display name and avatar you choose. Custom avatars are stored with our image host.
- Payment information. Token purchases are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We retain a record of your purchases, including amounts and Stripe transaction identifiers.
- Gameplay and usage data. Categories and topics you enter, questions played, answers, scores, statistics, and similar activity needed to run the game and your profile.
- Technical data. Standard log data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
2. How we use information
- to operate the Service — create your account, run games, and track scores and tokens;
- to process purchases and maintain transaction records;
- to generate trivia questions and evaluate answers using AI;
- to secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms; and
- to respond to your support requests and communicate about the Service.
3. Service providers we share with
We share information with the service providers below only as needed to run the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

4. AI processing
To generate questions and judge answers, the topics you enter and the answers you submit are sent to our AI providers for processing. Do not enter sensitive personal information into game prompts or answers.
5. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary to operate the Service — primarily to keep you signed in and to maintain your session. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, the Service does not function without them. We do not currently use cookies for third-party advertising.
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We retain transaction records as required for financial and tax purposes.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including password hashing and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@trivai.games. You can edit your profile in your account settings, and you can request account deletion by contacting support.
9. Children
The Service is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe someone under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Some countries set a minimum age for consenting to online services on your own — in the EU and UK this is between 13 and 16 depending on where you live. If you are under that age in your country, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service.
10. International users
We operate the Service from, and store data with providers in, the United States and other locations. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed in countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
