01

The board

Six categories you (or your host) chose, 36 questions. Tiles are scattered. The color swatch on a tile tells you its category, the number is what it pays: 100 easy, 250 medium, 500 hard.
02

Answering

AI SAYS: CORRECT"seinfled" → Seinfeld
Typos and near-misses count. The judge explains every verdict in one line.
Type your answer in your own words. An AI judge reads it like a human. No options unless you spend a Choices charge.
03

The pot & hot streaks

POT7502
Correct answers stack into your round pot, up to three questions a turn. The pot banks into your score whenever your turn ends; a miss just stops your run.
Banks itself at turn end·Max 3 answers a turn·A miss never costs points
04

Ring bonuses

you got it rightnext to one — ×1.5next to two — ×2.25
Every tile you answer right radiates onto its neighbors: they pay ×1.5, and ×2.25 where two glows overlap. Rings reset when your turn ends.
05

Charges

RerollRewrites the question — same tile, same value. Once per question; not on Wildcards.
ChoicesTurns it into multiple choice: four options, one right.
TrapMULTIPLAYER ONLYMultiplayer only — rig a tile in secret while it's not your turn. Whoever springs it faces a surprise Wildcard — and owes you tribute if they land it. Card 08 has the math.
Three of each per game — they don't carry over. Steals aren't a charge: free and unlimited.
06

The board tightens

As questions run out the board reshuffles and compacts: 6×6 → 5×5 → 4×4. Same categories, fewer places to hide.
07

Multiplayer

TURN-BASEDSTEALSHOST PAYS
Turns rotate; everyone watches every question live. Miss a typed answer and an 8-second steal window opens — first buzz gets one shot. A right steal pays the tile's value; a wrong one costs the same. Joining someone's game is free — the host covers the board.
Typed misses only — choice misses end quietly·A missed steal reopens the window for the rest
08

Traps & tribute

While it's not your turn, secretly trap any unanswered tile — pick a trapped one and it springs: the question swaps for a Wildcard from a category nobody prepped for, worth tile × ring × trap stack (×1.5 at two opponent traps, ×2.25 at three). Land it and the stake splits one share each between you and the trappers who sprung it — theirs bank instantly, yours joins your pot. Miss and your share comes off your banked score — tanking costs exactly what honesty pays.
Stacks compound with ring bonuses·Steals on sprung tiles tip the trappers too·Your own trap = an escape hatch — no tribute, no penalty
